- I'm a globe-trotting, adventure seeking chick that can make anywhere "home" as long as I have my backpack, journal, and open mind...oh yeah, and my stuffed manatee Max goes wherever I go! I have started this blog for two reasons... Reason #1: This is a place where family and friends can see where I am in the world and what crazy adventures I'm embarking on. Reason #2: I am starting something new, which will allow me to be thankful for one person each day for one whole year. I will chose one person each day to write 24 words of gratefulness about. Why 24 words? Because, this is how old I am. I will try my best to post daily, but as you all know, I'm not always somewhere with internet access. :) Enjoy the journey!

YOU NEED TO THINK ABOUT HOW YOU WILL LEAVE YOUR FAMILY, BEST FRIENDS AND THE LIFE YOU LIVE IS THE U.S.A. DO YOU THINK TAURA YOU CAN COPE WITH LIVING IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY KNOWING YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR MUM, GRANDMA AND CLOSE FRIENDS FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME. IT IS NOT CHEAP TO BE FLYING CONSTANTLY BETWEEN AUSTRALIA AND THE U.S.A LET ALONE TRYING TO ESTABLISH I LIFE IN AUSTRALIA. I JUST WOULD LIKE YOU TO THINK THROUGH ALL AVENUES BEFORE MAKING A DECISION YOU MIGHT REGRET. THE PARTY DOES NOT GO ON FOR LIFE. PEOPLE GROW OLDER AND MOVE ONTO TO OTHER THINGS. IT MIGHT NOT BE THE LIFE HERE AWAY FROM YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. I JUST DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOU HURT. ASK YOUR SELF OR ANSWER ON YOUR BLOG WHY YOU WANT TO MOVE AWAY FROM CLOSE FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN THE U.S.A TO AUSTRLIA WHERE THEY WILL NOT BE. IT IS NOT AN EASY THING TO DO. TRUST ME. I UNDER WENT A SIMILAR MOVE BUT COULD NOT HANDLE IT SO I MOVED BACK HOME.
I WILL REMAIN UNKNOWN AS I DO NOT WANT THIS TO COME BETWEEN US. NOR DO I WANT TO SEE YOU HURT. SO PLEASE THINK THROUGH AND THINK OF THE PEOPLE YOU WILL LEAVE IN THE U.S.A. THE PEOPLE IN AUSTRALIA HAVE ONLY KNOWN YOU FOR A SHORT TIME COMPARED TO YOU DEAR FRIENDS AND FAMILY IN U.S.A.
